Robert Wilder is a Co-Founder of The BWS Company, where he has directed the firm's investment strategy and the acquisition of several thousand acres across the Southeastern United States. Wilder leads the real estate acquisition team, specializing in the identification and procurement of large-scale land holdings for conversion into master-planned developments. These projects typically range from several hundred to several thousand units and integrate a diversified mix of residential, commercial, and industrial uses to maximize site utility and institutional value.
Wilder's expertise is centered on generating alpha through the navigation of technical and regulatory complexities. This includes the execution of high-barrier entitlements, development agreements, and government approvals to optimize project yields. A critical component of his strategy involves managing the entire investment lifecycle, including the disposition of assets to the institutional market. Since the firm's inception, Wilder has leveraged extensive regional relationships to execute transactions with 40 of the nation's top homebuilders, facilitating the institutional exit of master-planned assets.
Wilder holds a degree in Real Estate and Finance from the University of South Carolina, where he was a letterman for the Men's Basketball team. He is based on Sullivan's Island, South Carolina.
